Craniofacial Research Instrumentation Laboratory

Effective July 1, 2026, Dr. Jonas Bianchi will assume the role of Program Director of the Graduate Orthodontic Residency Program. He will strengthen our leadership structure and further support the continued success of our residency program.

As Program Director, Dr. Bianchi will oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the graduate orthodontic program, working closely with our Clinic Director, Dr. Joorok Park, faculty, and staff to ensure an outstanding educational experience for our residents.

Dr. Bianchi was recently promoted to Associate Professor, effective September 1, 2026, and has been a dedicated educator, clinician, and researcher since joining our faculty in 2020. He has established himself as a leader in the application of artificial intelligence in orthodontics and has presented his work at numerous national and international meetings. He currently serves on the American Association of Orthodontists task force on artificial intelligence and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. His scholarly accomplishments have been recognized through prestigious research funding, including an NIH R01 grant and the AAOF Biomedical Research Award.
