  • NIH R16 Support for Research Excellence (SuRE) Award (PAR-25-414), 4 years (supports investigators with prior experience leading independently funded research, while strengthening institutional research capacity and providing research opportunities for students
    • Project – Predicting Human Facial Growth: Building a Landmark Database and Clinically Applicable, Individualized Prediction Models.
    • Co-Investigators – Anahita Zarei (Data Science; Electrical and Computer Engineering), John Mayberry (Mathematics), Heesoo Oh (Orthodontics)
 
  • NIH Loan Repayment Program (LRP) Award, Renewal, 1 year (Supports investigators committed to biomedical and behavioral research careers by repaying a portion of their qualified educational debt)
 
 
  • AAOF (American Association of Orthodontists Foundation) James A. McNamara Orthodontic Faculty Fellowship Award, 1 year (Supports early-career orthodontic faculty in developing independent research programs and advancing academic orthodontics)
    • Project – Hyrax vs Invisalign Palatal Expander: A Pilot Randomized Clinical Trial (RCT) of patient experience & effectiveness
 
This is an outstanding achievement that recognizes her success, including a recent, highly competitive NIH R16 award, in collaboration with Dr. Oh, Dr. Zarei, and Dr. Mayberry. This accomplishment reflects the quality and significance of her research and is a wonderful achievement for both Dr. Suh and our School.
